Taught at Welsh, Thompson, Dennis, Washington, and Riverdahl Schools in Rockford.
Also taught in Iowa, Oregon, and Alabama. ..Mostly Kindergarten.
Owned and operated the Dutch Mill/Village Café at Colonial Village for ten years. (1990's)
Current Treasurer of Zeta Chapter, Delta Kappa Gamma Society International, a Society of Key Women Educators; Also chair of a state committee for DKG; Chair of the Board of Directors of Midway Village Museum and weekly volunteer in Textiles Archives; Co-Director of Saturday Kids Club at Centennial United Methodist Church: active member of Christ United Methodist Church - Usher and Chair of Crafters for annual Tender Loving Crafts Event in October; Active member of Rockford Alpha Phi Alumnae; playing golf in two leagues (at Aldeen and at Sinnissippi).
