WILLIAM C. RESCHLEIN, 64 ROCKFORD - William C. Reschlein, 64, of Rockford passed away Saturday, June 27, 2009, in OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center. Born Jan. 5, 1945, in Fort Atkinson, Wis., the son of John and Edith (Chambers) Reschlein. Bill was a very creative person who invented and patented a Stacker Hinge, which led to his owning and operating RACO Enterprises for many years. He enjoyed golf, watching drag racing, Wednesday night pub quiz and loved to spend time at the lake in Lake Mills, Wis. Graduated from East High School in 1963. Survivors include his partner for 28 years, Joyce Hehir; brother, John Reschlein of Poplar Grove; niece, Jennifer Reschlein; special father to Tom (Jakob Koch) Hehir of Rockford and Scott (Heather) Hehir of Weston, Wis.; grandchildren, Jacob and Caroline Hehir. Predeceased by his parents. Visitation from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 1, in Delehanty Funeral Home Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park, with a service at 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials to American Lung Association.
