Ylva Anita Kjellgren, 77, passed away November 29, 2022 at Cambridge Hills memory care in Pittsboro NC.

She was born in Båstad, Sweden on July 28, 1945 to Gotthard and Gunborg (Bjork) Nilsson. In 1950 she moved with her family to Rockford IL. She graduated from East High School in 1963. Ylva
earned a B.S. degree in computer science in 1983 and worked with IT security at Air Products and Chemicals in Trexlertown, PA. In 2010 she retired and moved with her husband to their home in Trescott Township, Maine. She enjoyed retirement to the fullest and spent time reading and watching seals, eagles and feeding assorted wildlife. Her last four years were spent in North Carolina where she moved to be closer to family.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Kent Kjellgren, her two sons, Max (Tara) and Erik (Aarti) and three grandchildren, Elin, Indranee and Neel and her brother Larry (Sandra) Nilsson.

She was predeceased by her parents and older brother, Bill Nilsson and her sister, Billie Reinhold, all of Rockford, IL.
