David "Buzz" Carlson 1945—2018
David "Buzz" Carlson died suddenly January 2, 2018, at Divine Word Hospital in Tacloban City, Philippines. Born May 1, 1945, in Rockford, Illinois to David and Jane Carlson (deceased). He attended East High School, Purdue University and Oklahoma State University. He was a consultant to the Manila (Philippines) Fire Department, Pyrotechnics Engineer and Official with The Philippine International Pyromusical Competition. Buzz was a Karaoke aficionado, friendly and fun loving to all that knew him and those that wish they did. He is survived by his wife, Liezl; son, Brian; brother, Larry (Wendy) Carlson; sister, Fran (Art) Kneller; several nieces, nephews, in-laws, godchildren and hundreds of friends from around the world.
Inurnment in the Philippines. A memorial service is planned for a later date. David Sheets

I only knew "Buzz" during high school.  He was always fun to be around.    At our 50th Reunion, he supplied a 'fantastic' fireworks show that amazed everyone in attendance.   RIP Buzz!!!!
